Bovada Rewards Program: Points, Tiers & Redemption (2026)

The Bovada rewards program works on a tier-based system that has a lot to do with the volume you put in as a player. After over a decade on Bovada, I’ll show you exactly how to earn more points, reach higher VIP tiers, and avoid wasting rewards.

What Is the Bovada Rewards Program?

Bovada Rewards Program: Points, Tiers & Redemption

Basically, it’s a tier-based system that allows us players to get more back for time we put into playing on the site. For example, if you play a lot of poker, you slowly gain points which you can redeem later in the rewards store. I’ve attached a screenshot of what the program looks like as a player on the back end.

How Bovada Rewards Points Work

The nice thing about reward points is that you don’t necessarily have to win or lose to be eligible for them. Everything is based on the activity of the games you are playing. That means if you’re playing poker or getting into some of the sport options every little thing you do on the site eventually adds up.

Bovada Rewards Tiers Explained

Bovada Rewards Program: Points, Tiers & Redemption

Initially when you first start playing you are given the player title “Starter”. And to move up to the next level you need to hit 5000 lifetime points to move up to the next tier which is “Rookie”. The highest level you can attain on Bovada is Hall of Fame Red Room which requires 5,000,000 lifetime points. Once you get to this status you will be eligible for a lot of behind the scenes perks not given to normal players. You can also eventually become hosted.

One thing I should point out is that points don’t recycle once a month or every year. Your playing status compounds over the lifetime you play on Bovada which is cool. So, if one month you don’t put in a lot of volume but the next month you do nothing reset. Every single point you accumulate compounds.

What Are Bovada Rewards Points Worth?

This is where some people assume that you simply get cash back but that’s not the case. Bovada has a rewards store which has all types of ways for you to cash in or redeem points for tournaments tickets, sport options, or other types of offers. Once again, I attached a screenshot to show you an example of what this all looks like. But redeeming is simple. Find the offer and click redeem, just make sure you have enough points to cover whatever you are going for.

Do Bovada Reward Points Expire?

Bovada Rewards Program: Points, Tiers & Redemption

No, Bovada Reward Points do not expire, which is one of the better features of the program. If your account remains in good standing, you can continue building your points balance over time without worrying about losing them after a certain number of days or months. That gives you the flexibility to save your points for larger rewards instead of feeling pressured to redeem them right away.

Even though the points themselves do not expire, it is still a good idea to check your rewards page regularly. I check mine maybe once a week. Logging in occasionally also helps you stay informed about any account notices or program changes.

If you have not used your account for an extended period or have questions about your Rewards balance, contacting Bovada customer support is the best way to confirm your account status and available rewards. I also do this occasionally via live chat which is available 24 hours a day if you are ever a question or concern about anything.

Are There Wagering Requirements?

Yes, in most cases there are but not always. When you look at the rewards store you can click on the terms of each option available to use as a player. Sometimes there are straight up offers with no strings attached. Other times, depending on the offer, there might be actual wagering requirements. My advice would be to thoroughly inspect an offer in the rewards store before claiming it, so you don’t regret anything later.

My Experience as a Hall of Fame Player

I’ve seen some mixed feelings from other people online that describe being a Hall of Fame player as nothing special. But I would strongly disagree with these opinions. Whether you become a winning, losing, or even break-even player at any point Hall of Fame allows you to max out free comps that other players don’t even have the option to receive.

I can remember back when I finally hit top tier status on my account. I immediately reached out via live chat and was given a huge comp. Later, I received my own host who I eventually sort of became friends with. And as time has gone on the vibe of using Bovada over other sites just feels more real. That’s probably the best way for me to describe all of this. Because with a lot of gaming sites you never really get to know anyone on a more personal level.

Final Thoughts

I’ve been using Bovada for so long that I’ve hit the highest player tier Hall of Fame Red Room. It wasn’t exactly an easy or smooth ride to the top, but I stuck with the site long enough to say the effort was worth it. What most people don’t understand is that Bovada takes care of their players, especially the ones who are most loyal.

I can think of so many instances where I’ve received all types of comps added to my account just for being a top tier player. I’ve also managed to become hosted, which has allowed me to have a more direct relationship with the marketing team on the site so that I can really max out any rewards that other players could only dream of receiving. With that said I would recommend Bovada to anyone looking for a site with a solid rewards program that not only benefits the operator but the people playing on the site.
